It was Marist Catholic that was buzzing all around the field Saturday afternoon, not the Hornets.

Henley High’s bid for a second consecutive Class 4A state championship came to a startling halt with a 30-6 defeat to the top-seeded Spartans at Spiegelberg Stadium in Medford.
