A Chiloquin teen is making progress on a long road of recovery after she was involved in a car accident with fatalities in late July.

Marrissa Gaston, 18, has been moved out of the intensive care unit at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend and admitted to the hospital’s Critical Care Unit, a Facebook page for the woman reported. The page was started by Gaston’s family to keep her friends and family aware of her medical progress. It can be viewed by searching for “Marrissa’s Page” on the social network.
