Hubbard,  Marion Francis  "Bud"

Marion Francis Hubbard, known affectionately as "Bud," passed away on Nov. 1, 2024, in Klamath Falls, Ore., at the age of 79. Born on Oct. 17, 1945, Bud spent his life dedicated to his passions and family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored and cherished every moment with. Bud graduated from Klamath Union High School. He worked as a knife grinder at Jeld-Wen, which he retired from after 37 years. His work ethic and dedication to his craft were admired by all who knew him. Beyond his professional life, Bud was a man of many interests. He had a profound love for the outdoors, often found fishing, hunting, or simply taking scenic drives through the countryside. The Oregon coast held a special place in his heart, serving as a frequent destination for fishing, relaxation and reflection. Family was the cornerstone of Bud's life. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Doreen Hubbard; daughter and son-in-law, Kari and Brad Hammack; grandchildren, Shareen and Joshua Hammack; and great-granddaughter, Aliya Hammack-Nelson. Bud was preceded in death by his son, Scott Hubbard, and his parents, Marion and Rita Hubbard. Those who knew Bud will remember him as a giving and thoughtful individual. His love for his pets showcased his compassionate nature, always ensuring they were well cared for and loved. In lieu of services, those who wish to honor Bud's memory are encouraged to cherish their personal memories with him. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
