U.S. Marine Corps Captain Ret. Ron Johnson leads the VFW and Marine Corps League — Color Guard in a Veterans Day Parade held Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, in downtown Klamath Falls.
The Grand Marshall of the Veterans Day Celebration was Roger Pattee. Staff Sgt. U.S. Air Force Ret. Pattee served eight years of active duty before transitioning to law enforcement for the National Parks Service. Currently, Pattee volunteers for the VFW serving in an official capacity in the color guard.
Reserved to honor missing members, a table is set for one and represents Americans still missing from each branch of service at a remembrance ceremony held at Veterans Park on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, following a Veterans Day Parade in Klamath Falls.

Every day is Veterans Day to many in Klamath Falls and during the national holiday, a parade and remembrance celebration was held Saturday.
Sponsored and put on by the Klamath Freedom Foundation, event organizer Mark Dodson said he and his organization are proud, and that it’s important, to honor veterans.
