Leroy "Bud" Gienger, born July 17, 1930, passed peacefully on April 20, 2024, with family beside him. He was a native Klamath County resident for his entire 93 years. Bud's stomping grounds were Chiloquin, Sprague River and Modoc Point where he was a rancher, a buyer and seller of land, in the timber industry and, in later years, antiquities. He was a busy man with many interests and a great love of his country and community. Bud is survived by his children, Roy, Ilene and Nina Beth; his step-children, Sharon, Kathy, Susan, Rod and Kris; and his loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bud was a fun, generous and knowledgeable man. He will be greatly missed and remembered. A celebration of his life is scheduled for Aug.17, 2024, at the Favell Museum, 125 W. Main St., Klamath Falls.
