Robert G. "Bob" Hughes, 80, passed away in Klamath Falls, Ore. on April 16, 2022. Bob was born July 15, 1941 in Livingston, Mont. He married Sharon Menefee on Nov. 22, 1967 in Livingston. James Allen McCuistion, 90, passed away in Klamath Falls, Ore. on Feb. 27, 2022. He was born in Turlock, Calif. on Sept. 11, 1931. James was a Moose Lodge member and enjoyed traveling, farming, talking to people, square dancing and loved tractors. Patricia J. "Patty" Jensen, 69, passed away at her home in Merrill on Jan. 15, 2022, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. Patty was born Oct. 31, 1952 in Cedarville, Calif. to Bill and Sara Minto. She grew up around Eagleville, graduating from Cedarville High School in 1970. She then attended Southern Oregon College in Ashland, Ore. where she earned a Bachelor's in Education. While there, she met David Jensen. The two married in Alturas, Calif. on Sept. 8, 1973. They moved to Klamath Falls in 1974 where Patty began what would be a 32-year career as an elementary teacher, first at Henley Elementary School and then retiring from Merrill Elementary School. Patty enjoyed outdoor activities including gardening, camping, boating, traveling and SCUBA diving. She was an expert seamstress who loved dogs and horses and spending time with her family. Patty's commitment to teaching influenced numerous students and the many teachers she mentored. She was active for years in Delta Kappa Gamma. Survivors include her husband, Dave Jensen of Merrill, Ore., daughter, Shawna Bynum and her husband, Patrick of Napa, Calif., grandchildren, Percy, Jensen and Trajan, all of Napa, Calif.; sister, Kay Ellis and her husband, Jim of Aztec, New Mexico, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Derrold George Kellar, 84, died Dec. 5, 2021 with his family by his side in Klamath Falls, Ore. He was born Jan. 28, 1937 in Nampa, Ida. to George and Dollie Kellar. Derrold served in the US Navy. He married Gloria Yori in Sacramento, Calif. on June 27, 1958. They moved to Klamath Falls in 1969 where Derrold worked for OIT and Weyerhaeuser. Known as "Pooh" to close friends and "Papa" to his grandchildren, he was a hardworking and loyal family man who enjoyed helping others, playing cribbage and doting on his grandchildren.
