Joseph Elwood Ivie "Joe" passed away from natural causes, surrounded by family and friends in Medford Oregon on January 1, 2023. Joe was born on March 29, 1958 in Klamath Falls Oregon to Wesley and Barbara Ivie. Joe attended school in Klamath Falls, graduating from Klamath Union High School in 1976. Following high school Joe served in the US army for 6 years, serving in Germany, Texas and California. Joe returned home on his cherished Harley. After returning home to Klamath Falls, Joe left for Arizona where he attended HVAC school, earning his certificate. Joe's life long love was always music. Joe started out young, playing the guitar, and mastered many other instruments along the way. Joe played with different bands throughout the years, performing all along the west coast for honky tonks, weddings, funerals, charity events, rodeos and casinos, to name a few. Joe enjoyed hiking, riding his Harley and hanging out with family and friends, playing music whenever he could. Joe's passion for music was only surpassed by one thing, his love for people. Joe was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Barbara Ivie. Joe is survived by an aunt, Martha Bishop, an uncle, Victor Ivie, numerous cousins and many close friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Klamath Falls VFW on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 12 p.m. with music and a potluck following. Internment will be at the Eagle Point National Veterans Cemetery on January 17, 2023 at 11 a.m

Eileen M. Reynolds, 92, a resident of Merrill, Oregon, passed away on December 27, 2022 at Sky Lakes Medical Center. Virginia Willowdean Cox Plass died in Klamath Falls, Oregon, on October 16, 2022, at the age of 93. She was born in Eugene, Oregon, on March 22, 1929, the elder daughter of Frank Alden Cox and Gladys Irene Terry Cox. She was the beloved wife of Francis "Frank" Martin Plass, who died in 2012, and the devoted mother of seven children: Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Moroney, 1950 (Seamus); John Francis, 1952 (died 1973); Susan Elizabeth, 1954; Timothy "Tim" Martin, 1956 (Julie); Christine Marie Bryan, 1958; Andrew Alden, 1960 (died 2005; Connie); and Stephen Michael, 1962 (Tricia). She was the proud grandmother of 29 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren, plus 4 on the way. Public visitation, beginning at 6 p.m., followed by recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. and led by Father J. Plass, will be on Friday, October 21, at O'Hair-Wards Funeral Chapel at 515 Pine Street, Klamath Falls. A private Traditional Latin Requiem Mass, with Father N. McManus officiating, will be held with the family on Saturday, October 22. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Klamath Falls. Frank Ramirez, age 98, passed away September 22, 2022, in Chiloquin, Oregon. He was born March 7, 1924, to Samuel Ramirez and Dolores (Pena) Ramirez. Frank was a celebrated World War ll veteran, earning An American Theater Service Medal; the European African Middle Eastern Service medal, with 22 Bronze Stars; three Overseas Service Bars, and a WW ll Victory Campaign Medal. Holy Rosary with take place at 10:30 AM Friday, October 7 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. A reception will follow, then burial at Mt. Carl Edwin Rust passed away on Aug. 15, 2022 in Portland, OR surrounded by family. He was born in Long Beach, CA on Mar. 29, 1956. Carl is survived by his wife, Patricia Luebbe; children, Karla Lumpkin (Paul), Clark Rust, Michelle Rust, Anne Olson (Robert), Mary Rust, Kevin Rust, and Helen Rust; 5 grandchildren; and other close relatives and friends. Larry Tuttle was born in McMinville to Ruth and Ralph Tuttle. He was the oldest of five kids; one sister and three brothers. He is survived by his sister, 6 children, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Military service to be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery on June 16th at 3pm.. Larry's family will be holding a celebration of life afterward with all who wish to attend welcome.

Jeanine Raquel Miller, 53, walked through the gates of heaven on May 26, 2022. She was born to Erwin Miller Sr. and Yvonne Moore in Klamath Falls on Nov. 15, 1968. She grew up in Chiloquin and attended Chiloquin schools. She was a celebrated scholar and athlete. She loved participating in photography and yearbook at Chiloquin High. She was an avid basketball player and toured the tourney trail. She attended Hotshot training in Tahoe National Forest and had fond memories of her firefighting days. She loved the outdoors and continued to choose careers that kept her close to nature. In recent years, she worked for her Klamath Tribal elders at meal site, a job that was near to her heart. She became a mom to Larkynn Presleah and Tahj Mahalia, her cherished daughters. She was extremely proud of her daughters and the feelings only intensified when she became a grandma to Quoia Joe Moses. Jeanine was a lifelong giver. She was never without her helping hands, humor, good words, encouragement, or kick in the butt. She was a true believer in Jesus Christ and a fierce prayer warrior. As a guardian angel, she now looks over her daughters, Larkynn Tupper (Nick Smith), and Tahj Miller (Kaden Moses), Grandson Quoia Moses. Father, Erwin Miller Sr., brothers, Erwin Miller Jr. and Eldon "EJ" Miller, and a deeply cherished line of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. The family asks that you take care of yourself spiritually, mentally, and emotionally during this sacred time.
