Donna Lundberg, age 81, passed away peacefully on Dec. 8, 2024. She was born, May 15, 1943, in Geddes, South Dakota, and raised in Springfield, Oregon, where she picked beans and strawberries during the summer for school clothes. Following high school, she worked in a cannery and a movie theater. In 1964, Donna moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon, where she worked at JC Penney before meeting and marrying, John Lundberg. The two shared a deep and enduring love that shaped Donna's life in countless beautiful ways. Donna loved fast cars, crocheting stunning quilts, and enjoyed working in the yard. She lived life with energy and kindness, embracing everyone she met with a caring heart. Donna's unique ability to speak her mind, while making everyone feel like a friend, was a hallmark of her unforgettable personality. Donna leaves behind her devoted husband, John Lundberg; her beloved daughters, Glenda Lundberg and Cindy Harris Quick; grandchildren Brandon Snowdy, Ryan Snowdy, Austin Quick Emilee Quick; and great-grandson Tallon Snowdy; nephews/niece Ronald Gibson, Kenny Gibson and Carol Gibson. Her legacy of love, strength, and generosity will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. In honor of her selfless spirit, we invite those who wish to pay tribute to her kindness to consider making a donation to the Sky Lakes Cancer Treatment Center and Hospice. Donna will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with her dear mother, whom she loved so deeply. Memorial service will be held at The Friends Church, 1918 Oregon Ave., at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025.
